James R. Johnson, Managing Director
James R. Johnson, founder and seasoned Silicon Valley director and inventor is Managing Director of Boutique Theatres, Inc.
Shown here speaking in England on start-ups, Mr. Johnson, inventor, director, speaker and technologists worked in Scotland for his newly invented interferometric array antenna that he co-patented and branded: “Vortis.”
Recognized by the New York Times, Scientific America Magizine and several other publications in Scotland and the UK, noted as 13th in the list of innovative wireless technogies. The advanced cellphone antenna technology promulgated in key areas around the U.S., Europe, China, India and South Africa as part of a global strategy for improving performance, clarity, battery life and new regulations for reducing radiated signals absorbed by billions of future users.
Now becoming a de facto standard, Vortis was awarded contracts and several support agreements by companies around the world and by Virginia Tech University and Harriet Watt University in Edinburgh. Mr. Johnson brought clarity to regulations and was exemplified in a published FCC report supporting use of new antenna technology.
Other successes include on-going support of MASS Precision, a very successful Design and Manufacturing leader in Silicon Valley for precision sheet metal, machining, medical products and assembly where he lead the original ISO 9000 certification in 1993 that was a national first in their class.
MASS has grown twice its origonal original size and recently achieved another first under Mr. Johnson’s direction by achieving ISO 13485 corporate certification for medical device manufacturing; An FDA requirement for manufacturing in the U.S. An achievement recently recognized by a national trade publication [Design2Print.com, Nov. 2009].
MASS is helping with BTI’s early prototypes and designs for medical tele-video therapy and is now supporting early development of BTI as a supplier of BTI. [massprecision.com].
Mr. Johnson’s B.S. degree from the University of Phoenix for Business Admininstration produced a published thesis on “Implementation Process” focusing on quantifying the speed of change and adoption of innovation throughout organizations: Making It Happen Faster!

Patrick G. Mahoney, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer
Patrick G. Mahoney is a seasoned Silicon Valley Executive who has been responsible for several growth scenarios taking leadership roles in forging new markets and technologies. As a former entertainer, Patrick is clear on Boutique Theatres, Inc.’s mission to create a customer experience.
Patrick’s recent success was his position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Semifab, Inc. Hollister, CA, Regional Sales Manager at CDS Group, Director of Sales at Bentek, Inc. where he grew the company significantly while maintaining a standard of manufacturing and customer service that developed several strategic partnerships.
Patrick works well in entrepreneurial settings and enjoys wearing many hats in startup mode, including setting up international supply chains, developing marketing strategies, launching websites, finding outstanding technical personnel and creating unique differentiating engineering solutions.
Patrick’s goal is to ensure the delivery and execution of all of Boutique Theatres Inc.’s Theatre Modules, Franchises and Corporate Sites.
Since 1980, Patrick has also made a steady appearance on the Northern California music scene, playing keyboard for such notables as Moby Grape, Jerry Miller, The Isely Brothers, Benny and the Jets, Silicon Valley House Rockers and Buddy Miles. Hia most recently played with the funk dance band Touch of Class. He is also a charity performer, playing jazz at the Mountain View Healthcare Center for the last 9 years.

Daniel Kottke, Chief Technical Advisor
Daniel Kottke, acting Chief Technical Advisor, is among the original (albeit silent) co-founders of Apple Computer, Inc. The first 'employee' working directly with Steve Jobs and Steve Wosniac out of the Cupertino, California garage, Daniel became part of the Macintosh Development Team, launching the Mac - that changed the world.
Mr. Kottke has extensive and progressive hardware, software and telecommuncations mastery and Internet development expertise in his field. He maintains a creative think-tank environment to forward BTI. He has invented several programs/applications designed to support on-line video delivery systems and social networks. With over 400 active associates and over 1,000 semi-active associates within several progressive industries, Mr. Kottke's desire to bring new content from independent sources is one of his primary drives for augmenting BTI's success.
Scott Laird, Director of Installations Scott Laird has been studying technical theater, now a licensed contractor, for over 25 years. His work is known in Apple, HP, Google, Oracle, Genesis Microchip, Carnegie Mellon University, Santa Clara University, Siemens, Palm and several CEO's. As Director of Products & Installations, Scott is key in site set up, delivery and certification that includes Technology Plan including build-out requirements, site construction, room assembly, interior installation, audio/video, control system and integration of lighting, HVAC, etc.
