Boutique Theatres, Inc.: "High Tech For The Rest Of Us”
Boutique Theatres, Inc. (BTI), a company in Palo Alto, California, is taking the best of the home theatre experience and has quantified thirty-five of its major elements to create an amazing “Cinematic Experience” for its customers. BTI has created the perfect theatre pod that canl be placed in clusters of Theatre Modlues and used as: home theatres, business conference rooms, remote classrooms or interactive video parlors for fun and entertainment, interactive gaming, education/distance learning or serious medical, scientific or business applications.
BTI provides an alternative to the framed plasma TVs with a big wall screen with comfortable seating acommodating from 2 to 20 people with varying room sizes. BTI's Theatre Modules have plenty of standing room for socializing before and/or after your event. BTI innovative invitation scheduling for family, friends and/or business associates comes with optional room service with catering tailored to your groups' needs and desires, comfortable seating, digital streaming free of interruptions, state of the art stereo sound that makes you feel like you are THERE, and, of course, 3D and virtual reality gaming for all ages. BTI's Theatre Modules have real-time virtual social and/or conference capabilities, where you can dine with friends and family in another city with the table appearing to go thru the wall; like Cisco's Tele-presence lite; where one feels as though in the same room as another person hundreds of miles apart.
BTI has compiled an impressive line of technology companies who support BTI's plan to build 20,000 individual Theatre Modules located throughout the U.S. in approximaltey 1,000 sites. These leaders in their respective fields are launching technologies of their own and BTI will be a significant customer and/or partner of theirs bringing BTI up to 2 million viewers a month.
"BTI will create the next norm in a few years." Just as Kinko’s provided a global location to count on or Home Depot brought products together under one roof or Startbucks replicated, with precision, the “Italian Experience.” "We're committed to bringing new a paradigm to fruition" says Jim Johnson, founder and Managing Director.
BTI will be the first mover in this third wave of Entertainment and VOIP.
“With 38,000 screens in the U.S. divided among 6,000 theatres, there are not enough screens to go around and now, with new producers coming out with critically acclaimed movies such as Slum Dog Millionaire, or Sideways, there are emerging opportunities. Alan D. Cooksey, partner in the Hollywood Film Management firm, Swinda Entertainment International says: “As BTI rolls out it’s 1,000 sites and up to 20,000 screens, we feel there will be a flood of new content coming in that may not be 'blockbuster material,' but, nonetheless, quality content and entertaining." The percentage of films previewed/entered in the Cannes Film Festival that actually make it into the worldwide distribution network is relatively small. Boutique Theatres, Inc. is creating a 'new paradigm' for film distribution as well as a new experience for viewing films, i.e., a new avenue for distribution and a mo better viewing esperience, second to none.
Our customers can bring their own DVD's or other content or they can download new films and/or programs from one of our many partners' sites. They can even sign up for a live entertainment or sporting event.
Yes, everyone seems to be moving to "home theatre" concept, but in reality it is just a big screen TV and every once in a while, you've just got to get out away from the home and go experience the new wave of rich content in movies, science, medocine, education, technology and virtual worlds; something you can't get at home!
We’ve just made dinner and a movie a whole lot better!
